Taylor Swift is one of the most famous faces in the world, and it’s speculated that she’s had cosmetic surgery. According to a plastic surgeon, it’s possible that the pop icon had an eyebrow lift, lip lift and rhinoplasty and is also getting injectables like Botox and fillers.
Prof Dr Fuat Yuksel, who’s been practising plastic surgery for more than 35 years and is a member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, analysed Taylor’s face to check for any signs of cosmetic work.
On the singer’s eyebrow lift, he said: “There used to be a very narrow gap between Taylor’s upper eyelid and the skin above. But it’s wider now, and the tail of her eyebrows is higher up. Her eyes also look more open now, which makes it look like she had an eyebrow lift.”
The megastar is also believed to have had a lip lift, which is a permanent lip augmentation surgery. “Her upper lip also looks a little shorter now than it used to, which suggests the possibility of a lip lift,” said Dr Fuat, who works with a UK-based provider of cosmetic treatments Longevita.
Taylor’s nose was another facial feature the plastic surgeon noticed looked different, although he pointed out that the changes were small and rather subtle. He said: “Overall, very little has changed about Taylor’s nose, but her cartilage structures have become slightly thinner, which makes her nose look smaller. That, I believe, is because of a surgical nose job.”
But that’s not all. According to Dr Fuat, the singing sensation might also be no stranger to cosmetic injectables as she seems to be supporting her look with Botox and fillers. He added: “In particular, the tip of her chin looks more pointed, and it may be because of a chin filler.”
Dermal fillers like Botox are not permanent and they can last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. The hyaluronic acid in them is eventually absorbed by the body. You may have to keep getting these injections to maintain results.
